Pony Boy is a gripping representation of the exploitative nature of sex. It is an exploration into the darkness of unhealthy relationships. Pony Boy is a person whose sexuality is used by others for their gain, and who he in turn uses for his own survival. The song twists and turns, going down uncertain paths where danger and survival work hand in hand.
